  • Account information: name, email address, password (encrypted).
  • Usage data: presentation topics/outlines you submit, generated content, pages visited, and feature usage.
  • Payment data: handled entirely by Razorpay; Slidenova does not receive or store your full card/bank details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the service, process payments, send transactional emails (billing, account, support), and understand product usage to fix bugs and prioritize features.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored with Supabase, with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and industry-standard access controls.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited data with trusted providers strictly to operate the service:

  • Razorpay — payment processing
  • Supabase — authentication and data storage
  • Perplexity AI — presentation content generation
  • Resend — transactional emails
  • PostHog — anonymized product usage analytics

These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and presentation data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights (under India's DPDP Act, 2023)

You have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional processing. To exercise these rights, email support@slidenova.app.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login/session functionality and analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Slidenova is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
